I know I have been blog absent lately so hopefully I can get back into the swing of things.

My new seat
Of course if you have kids you know how much their stuff takes over your house. It is amazing how much stuff we already have to keep a little baby entertained. Lets see- a swing, play mat, bumbo and now her bouncy seat. We decided last night to get out Breann's bouncy bouncy seat, and as you can tell from the picture she loved it. We just hope it lasts. We are going to pack up her swing to make room for her new seat and also the swing is old news and she doesn't tolerate it or for more than five minutes.

Breann June is here
Just in case you have missed it our little bundle of joy was born on July 1, 2009 at 8:44pm weighing in at 7lbs 8oz. We finally revealed the name we had picked out when Bill carried her out of the OR to introduce her to the family, Breann June. The Ann part is after Bill's grandmother and June is after my grandmother.
We went to the dr on Tuesday June 30th for an ultrasound to see how big our bouncing baby was. To our surprise the ultrasound showed she weighed 9lbs. My doctor had to leave the office to deliver a baby before we were able to see her and decide what to do. Later that afternoon I received a call and the doctor wanted to induce either the next day Wednesday or on Sunday. We had really wanted to have her on Bill's birthday on Friday, but oh well we would take the Wednesday appointment. We didn't want this big baby to get any bigger if we waited until Sunday. The only thing was since we took the Wednesday appointment we had to be there that night on Tuesday. So we rushed home and were back in Paducah by 7:30 that night. They started inducing me at 7:00 am but by 5:30 I hadn't gone past 8cm so the decision was made to do a c-section. So after a little delay our little bundle was born at 8:44pm weighing only 7lbs 8oz. I was so relieved that the lady who did the ultrasound was wrong about the weight. We are extremely smitten with Breann and are enjoying every minute with her. Will be posting more pictures and info later.

The Nursery
OK I know it has been a while since I have blogged, I finally sat down and got the pictures off my camera. Many of you have asked about the nursery so I decided to post the pictures. We are nearing the finish line, but still need to hang the curtain and the picture that you see in the baby bed. Other than that I guess you can call is complete. I really love the way it turned out. I keep telling Bill that I want to change rooms with the baby since I love this room. Bill built the bed, needless to say he is really proud of it. His parents had a pecan tree fall at the farm a couple of years ago and Bill had boards made; and that is the wood used to build the bed. I will try to post later the progess of the bed being built. Also we don't show it in the pictures but Bill also built a hanging rod in the wardrobe (which belonged to my grandmother) so baby girl would have a closet. Only 9 days away from my due date. IT'S THE FINAL COUNTDOWN!!!!

Baby girl in 4D
Well this is our bundle of joy at 30 weeks. Needless to say her dad was a much happier person because he got to see her in 4d. If you look close you can see her knee is touching her nose and her foot is on top of her head. Don't ask how in the world she is able to bend that way. My mom says she is in the fetal position and I told her the fetal position is having your knees in touching chest not on touching your nose. I am just hoping that she straightens out before she makes her debut in this world in 6 weeks 2 days.

She is proud of her feet
Ok after a 17 min ultrasound this is the best picture we got. We go back on Tuesday to try the 4D again. You will notice from in the post from February 13 that she likes to show off her feet. My step mom says as long as it is not the first thing we see of her when she delivers. Also on Tuesday I have to go for the 3hour glucose test, then dr appt and ultrasound. I sure hope for my husbands sake she is awake for her next pictures. I would hate for her to break his heart again.

Please do not disturb me
We went yesterday for our 4D ultrasound with high expectations. Who would she look like, would she make any cute moves, oh the excitement to see our little bundle of joy in 4D. Bill and I learned a valuable lesson yesterday, kids have a way of changing things. Our little girl was sleeping and did not want to be disturbed. We tried everything to wake her up. I rolled on my right side, my left side, poked around on my tummy, walked the room and bent over trying to get her to wake up so we could see her. Nope she was perfectly happy taking a nap and didn't want us to see her just yet. Due to the fact that we haven't found my ankles yet I have to go to the dr every 2 weeks (see previous post). So again on the 28th we are going to try for the 4D again. I was given the suggestion to eat a candy bar and drink a cola before the appointment to make sure she is up. My poor husband was so disappointed, this was something he had been looking forward to for several weeks, he was a little bummed out yesterday afternoon. She already has her daddy wrapped around her little finger

M.I.A.
I had read that with pregnancy you seem to be forgetful, but I had no idea that I would somehow misplace my ankles. I have looked high and low for them and can't find them anywhere. I have put out an APB here at work for them, have retraced my steps for the last week and still no sign of my ankles. I am going to the dr tomorrow maybe she can give me some magic pill to help me find them. It is still a little early, in my opinion for me to be without my ankles. I am thinking that flip flops aren't going to be the cutest things on my feet this summer. I had bought the cutest wedge sandals in a very pretty silver color to wear this summer, I had visions of being so stylish this summer in my cute wedges. Well I guess I can throw that out the window. Maybe I need to wear UGG boots to hid the fact that my ankles are M.I.A.

The Name Game
Why is naming a baby such a hard decision. It seems I am stressed out about this more than the pregnancy, delivery, getting the room ready, everything. I guess because this is something that will be with her for the rest of her life, besides our good looks of course. I am so afraid of scaring her for life with a name she hates. When she gets big enough all we will hear is why or why did you give me this name I hate it. We have made lists looked at countless websites and had several discussions. I have been to babyname.com and looked at other peoples name list and to some I want to say what the heck are you thinking. To some degree I think people judge you on what kind of parent you are going to be by the name you give your child.
I was wondering do they let you have a 30 trial period. You know we name our little bundle of joy, take her home and if we don't like the name we can change it. To me it sounds like a win win situation. Just because we pick out a name, set it in stone doesn't mean it will fit her or her personality when she arrives. We have 18 weeks left to decide, I have told Bill I don't want to be deciding on a name on the way to deliver at the hospital.
In other news we received the baby bed woodworking plans yesterday in the mail. Bill studied them and thinks this will be something that he can tackle. I hope to post pictures as this project progresses.

IT'S A GIRL
We found out on Tuesday that we are having a girl. We had all three moms there when we found out, which made it real special. They were amazed at what can been seen at an ultrasound. Everything looked great. The lady said she had big feet and long fingers. She weighed 11.4 oz, it just amazes me how they can tell all this from a fuzzy screen. We had a boys name picked out which would of taken all the stress off of us. Now we have to start from scratch on a girls name. What a responsibility, trying to name this little person and hopefully not scar her for life with a name she hates. I will let you know how this progresses.

Good Bye my Friend
On January 26th Bill and I lost our precious Fifi. She was three weeks shy of her 17th birthday. Words can not express how hard losing her has been on Bill and I. As I am writing this almost 2 weeks later my eyes are filled with tears from the hole in my life she has left. I have to say that she lived much longer than any of us expected her to and she had a great life being pampered like most princesses should be. She didn't not leave us alone, we were there by her side to comfort her as she passed. We are filled with the many memories she left us, but this house will always be empty without her. So good bye my friend good bye.

Check in and vote
I am taking a poll to see what everyone thinks I am having. I go next week January 28th to find out what we are having. I am so super excited to find out. Now just hoping the baby cooperates with us and shows us its goods. Of course my husband wants a boy, I really don't care as long as it is healthy. The only reason I would want a boy is we already have a name picked out. The list of girl names I like is way to long to even think about narrowing down. I have already had one friend say the "g" word, but I haven't told Bill what she said yet. I am keeping the poll going until the 28th at 10:00pm which should give me time to get home from the appt and post on here what our little Juniorita is.
Ok I have been asked by Ladybird to give hints.
Craving-I really don't crave either sweet or salty. I kind of crave both just depends on the time of day and what everyone else is eating or talking about eating
Carrying-I feel like I am carrying the baby high, but I really don't know the difference
Heartbeat-It has been 164 and 170
Also I haven't had any sickness (knock on wood)
Hope this helps in your guess

14 week check up
Just to let you know that Mondays appt went well. Everything is fine and the baby's heartbeat was 164 and Juniorita was moving quite a bit. I asked the nurse if the old wives tale about the faster the heartbeat means it is a girl. To which she replied, "I have seen several boys with a fast heartbeat." Then she looks at Bill and says, "There is still hope", then there was a slight smile on his face. If it is a girl she will have to love being on the farm and pulling antique tractors. We go on the 28th of this month to find out what Juniorita is. It just amazes how they will be able to tell the sex when Juniorita is only about 5 inches long. Just think our parents didn't know what we were until we were introduced to the world.
