Why is naming a baby such a hard decision. It seems I am stressed out about this more than the pregnancy, delivery, getting the room ready, everything. I guess because this is something that will be with her for the rest of her life, besides our good looks of course. I am so afraid of scaring her for life with a name she hates. When she gets big enough all we will hear is why or why did you give me this name I hate it. We have made lists looked at countless websites and had several discussions. I have been to babyname.com and looked at other peoples name list and to some I want to say what the heck are you thinking. To some degree I think people judge you on what kind of parent you are going to be by the name you give your child.
I was wondering do they let you have a 30 trial period. You know we name our little bundle of joy, take her home and if we don't like the name we can change it. To me it sounds like a win win situation. Just because we pick out a name, set it in stone doesn't mean it will fit her or her personality when she arrives. We have 18 weeks left to decide, I have told Bill I don't want to be deciding on a name on the way to deliver at the hospital.
In other news we received the baby bed woodworking plans yesterday in the mail. Bill studied them and thinks this will be something that he can tackle. I hope to post pictures as this project progresses.

I vote for Andromeda Tulip! :)
EC's name was pretty easy, but it was picked out FOREVER, like your boys name.
We had lots of trouble deciding on a girl name. It was my grandmother's name, Millie, for a long time....until that darn Miley Cyrus came along and every kid in the nursery was name Miley. I didn't want little Millie to be mispronounced all the time. Darn, Disney Channel...they can ruin a good name! :)
Congratulations...how fun will that be. You will be a great mom and her name will be perfect.
