Please do not disturb me

We went yesterday for our 4D ultrasound with high expectations. Who would she look like, would she make any cute moves, oh the excitement to see our little bundle of joy in 4D. Bill and I learned a valuable lesson yesterday, kids have a way of changing things. Our little girl was sleeping and did not want to be disturbed. We tried everything to wake her up. I rolled on my right side, my left side, poked around on my tummy, walked the room and bent over trying to get her to wake up so we could see her. Nope she was perfectly happy taking a nap and didn't want us to see her just yet. Due to the fact that we haven't found my ankles yet I have to go to the dr every 2 weeks (see previous post). So again on the 28th we are going to try for the 4D again. I was given the suggestion to eat a candy bar and drink a cola before the appointment to make sure she is up. My poor husband was so disappointed, this was something he had been looking forward to for several weeks, he was a little bummed out yesterday afternoon. She already has her daddy wrapped around her little finger

Gosh, you dont have very good luck with ultrasounds. First an ice storm interfers and now that sweet baby won't cooporate! I can't wait to see the 4D pictures. Our doctor's office didn't have that option, so we didn't get one. I wish you better luck on the 28th!

BTW - The chocolate and cola thing really works. I was worried once that I had not felt EC move for a long time. When I called the doctors office, they told me to eat chocolate ice cream or drink a soda...anything with sugar or caffine. Sure enough, the little guy was having a party not long after that!
